What will the next flagship smartphone from Samsung look like? Several unofficial renders have been circulating on the Internet in recent weeks, but their appearance was quite different. They looked the most attractive renders from LetsGoDigital, according to which the Galaxy S22 Ultra should not have a complete photomodule on its back, but five separate lenses. Galaxy S22 Ultra poses in the first photos
The look of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra was revealed by the well-known informant Jon Prosser in several photos of the final prototype of the phone. And most interestingly, this prototype has one of its sources, so we can look forward to more information. But we can already confirm a lot of details.

We will start the tour untraditionally on the back, which is probably the most discussed. The absence of the main photomodule is confirmed, instead of Samsung fitting separate lenses on its back. This design is reminiscent of the LG Velvet smartphone, but in the case of Samsung, the lenses will be five and all will protrude above the body of the phone. It looks nice, but it probably won’t be very practical – the lenses will be more prone to damage and dust will stick around them.
The set of cameras should consist of a main 108Mpx camera, 12Mpx wide and two 10Mpx telephoto lenses – one with 4 × optical zoom, the other with 10 ×. The lens assembly is then closed by laser focusing.
Although the lens protrudes quite significantly from the phone, this does not mean that the phone will be thin. Exactly opposite. According to the photos, it will be a real gallop, partly due to the integrated S Pen stylus. It looks similar to a smartphone Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, it will have its place in the lower left corner of the phone. At the same time, the speaker outlet and the USB-C connector are visible on the underside, there is no space left for the headphone jack.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra will resemble the Galaxy Note series in its shape, the phone will be more angular in plan than the typical representatives of the Galaxy S series. On the contrary, the display will be curved in front of the left and right side. The display will boast thin frames and also a selfie camera in the hole in the top middle.

Premiere in February
According to Jon Prosser, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will go to pre-orders on February 8 next year, and will go on sale on February 18. This does not confirm the assumptions that the ceremonial premiere will take place at the renewed fair MWC in Barcelona, to be held between 28 February and 3 March next year.
