At least 84 people have been killed when a tanker exploded in Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone. A morgue in Freetown says 91 dead have been brought in. Dozens of people were also injured.
The explosion happened last night in a suburb of the capital of the West African country. The truck had collided with another vehicle at a busy intersection. People then tried to get fuel from the truck, which then exploded.
Images from local media show that heavily charred bodies lie in the vicinity of the truck.
