The mask again required in restaurants and museums

Bad news for those who were happy to get rid of it just a month ago. While the mask had been back for a week in places subject to the health pass of 70 municipalities in Loire-Atlantique, the same regime will be applied again throughout the department, and in particular Nantes and its metropolis, from Monday, and at least until December 8.

“Wearing a mask is once again compulsory when traveling inside restaurants or closed sports establishments,” illustrates the prefect of Loire-Atlantique, in a press release published on Friday. It is also becoming compulsory again in museums and cinemas. As a reminder, wearing a mask is always compulsory in places with a high concentration of people. The department is also concerned by the return of the mask to school.

Incidence rate continues to rise

According to the latest figures from the regional health agency, viral circulation continues to increase in the region. On Tuesday, the incidence rate was 80 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in Pays-de-la-Loire (73 for Loire-Atlantique), against 57 for the rest of France. In the department, 61 people were hospitalized, including 18 in intensive care.
