The court rejected Jeff Bezos’ lawsuit against NASA
The US Federal Court of Justice has ruled against Blue Origin. Jeff Bezos’ company had filed a lawsuit against NASA. According to the billionaire, his company should have been chosen for the lunar mission, not SpaceX, BusinessInsider reports.
Federal Judge Richard Hertling’s ruling ended a months-long court battle in which Blue Origin made SpaceX its main target.
SpaceX CEO Elon Musk commented on the decision on Twitter. Musk responded to an article about the meme decision, saying, “You were convicted.”

Jeff Bezos’ space company filed a lawsuit against NASA in August, arguing that the space agency’s decision to award $ 2.9 billion to SpaceX was “unfair.” However, the US space agency chose the cheapest offer. The fact that Blue Origin does not have a rocket that can go into orbit also affects to the detriment of Jeff Bezos.
NASA said Bezos’ legal battle was hampering progress and jeopardizing the lunar mission because it effectively stopped a number of programs that could not be developed while the case was pending.
