Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Marcus Fernaldi Gideon advance to the semifinals German Open 2021. The Minions menang straight game atas Daniel Lundgaard / Mathias Thyrri.
Kevin / Marcus undergo the quarter-final match against Daniel Lundgaard / Mathias Thyrri at Saarlandhalle, Saarbrucken, Friday (5/11/2021) night WIB. The Indonesian men’s doubles appeared dominant and controlling.
In the first game, Kevin/Marcus didn’t let Lundgaard/Thyrri gain momentum. They were practically always ahead from the start, leading 11-7 at the interval, then taking the game 21-14.
The second game runs relatively more difficult. Lungaard/Thyrri several times overtake points, but Kevin / Marcus able to close the interval at 11-10.
From this point on, Kevin / Marcus can maintain the advantage and not be touched again by the opponent to lock the semifinal ticket within 36 minutes.
In the semifinals German Open 2021, The Minions will meet Thai doubles Supak Jomkoh/Kittinupong Kedren. Jomkoh/Kedren previously beat British doubles Ben Lane/Sean Vendy who are the sixth seed with 21-18, 20-22 and 21-18.
