In the latest series of the show “The Mistress is Looking for a Man”, the popular country music singer Linita Mediņa had to make a decision which of the two gentlemen who remained on her farm to send home, but with whom to go on a romantic trip.
“There is nothing better than leaving a particle in the hands of fate,” Linita announced at the beginning of the show “The Mistress is Looking for a Husband”, drawing three knights from a thick pile of letters. Among the potential marriages that Linita selected herself after reading the letters was 54-year-old Valdis from Jēkabpils.
From the very first moments, Jēkabpils showed the greatest initiative on the TV screen in the fight for the singer’s attention and heart. However, the fate turned out to be more favorable for the Board for Sandy, who was seven years younger.
Valdis had applied for participation in the show “The hostess is looking for a husband”, guided by serious intentions, and in a conversation with Skaties.lv he does not hide that he cherished hopes that “maybe something will happen” with the popular singer. Well, he thinks that a person cannot be forced to please someone.
“I really liked Linita as a person and still like it, but in the show everything turned out the way it did. You will not command the heart, ”says Valdis that the two of them were obviously not destined to be together.
After many years in Russia, when he returned home, he had not been able to establish a serious relationship, so he did not miss the opportunity to meet Linita: “However, such an opportunity to meet face to face. When communicating with a person, it is easier to build a relationship than remotely.
I went to Linita, everything seemed to happen, I tried. I don’t know how I got it from the outside, but unfortunately I didn’t stay in the winners, ”says Valdis.
“But it’s nothing. That’s why life doesn’t stop, everything goes on, ”he doesn’t hang his nose.
