With 738 corona cases per 100,000 inhabitants, Flanders has been coloring since Thursday dark red on the European corona map. That’s the first time – during the third wave this spring we never reached such peaks, during the second wave the hue didn’t exist yet. The World Health Organization expresses “grave concern” about the increase in the number of infections in Europe. And yet there are no crisis meetings, cries for help or lockdown plans. And that has several reasons.
