Simultaneously with the release of the album, March also released a video for the song “IOYA”, which is the second single from the new album, for hip-hop listeners.
The song “IOYA” and its videos are an ironic reflection of the artist about what is happening in the hip hop music genre nowadays, when often the tendencies of the content consumed by Internet users negatively affect the content, quality and lead to absurdity of performers. The video of the song was created by Reinis Kalniņš (camera) and Marks Landmanis (video editing).
March performs songs in English and has earned the recognition of world-renowned hip-hop performers. In 2021, American rapper Redman included one of March’s songs – “The Man” – in his tape “Come Get It Playlist”, while Akil The MC from the American rap group “Jurassic 5”, evaluating the talent of the new rapper, participated in the album’s song “Quarantine Rhyme”. In addition to March, the album also features two guest artists – one of them is the already mentioned American rapper Akil The MC from the group “Jurassic 5”, and the other – the young and talented local singer Krisy.
