Naples make evidence don’t underestimate Europa League after winning 4-1 over Legia Warsaw. Naples was considered not concerned with this event after saving the pillars.
Napoli was able to win 4-1 at the Legia Warsaw headquarters, Polish Army Stadium, on matchday fourth Group C Europa League, Friday (11/5/2021) early morning WIB. The visitors had fallen behind through Mahir Emreli’s goal in the 10th minute.
Napoli then rose in the second half by pouring four goals. Goals came from Piotr Zielinski and Dries Mertens penalties and Hirving Lozano and Adam Ounas scores.
An additional three points brought Napoli to the top of Group C with seven points. They displace Legia with a one-point advantage.
This victory over Legia is also proof that Napoli do not underestimate the Europa League. Previously, Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti was considered not concerned with the Europa League because they did not bring Victor Osimhen, Lorenzo Insigne, Fabio Ruiz and Mario Rui in the match against Legia.
Spalletti is considered to have prioritized Serie A regarding his steps to save these pillars. Il Partenopei is currently in the top position A league.
Spalletti was annoyed by the criticism. Now, he is showing that Napoli are still serious about facing the Europa League by performing well even without several pillar players.
