On Wednesday, the top orchestra announced which works it will play on January 1, 2022 under Daniel Barenboim, who will be at the New Year’s concert desk for the third time, in the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein. It will be a colorful journey with six premieres on brownies, nymphs and the bat – and a colorful program bouquet in which Strauss dominates.
