79% of European companies have been the victims of cyber attacks

More than three-quarters (79%) of companies have previously been victims of cybercrime, with the most incidents (31%) being caused by “trivial” attacks via email, according to a Kaspersky study.

63% of the 1,500 decision-makers surveyed say they are concerned about the threat of cyber-security attacks, especially against the following channels of attack: spyware – 64%, spyware – 63%, malware – 63%, targeted attacks (organization or industry) – 63%, e Email 62%

Also, more than half (53%) of decision-makers fear that employees do not follow security policies and techniques. Only one-fifth (21%) are completely convinced of the company’s security awareness.

In addition, 64% of respondents report that the increasing use of personal devices and cloud services by employees makes it difficult to monitor potential risks or breaches.
