In August, Aaron Rodgers was asked if he had been vaccinated against covid-19. Then the quarterback answered the following:
– Yes, I have been immunized. There are guys on the team who have not been vaccinated. I think it’s a personal choice. I’m not going to judge those guys.
Now it has turned out that Rodgers himself has not been vaccinated against the virus. Instead, he has undergone a homeopathic treatment together with his personal doctor to raise the levels of antibodies in the blood, writes NFL.com.
He is also said to have applied for a waiver from the league’s covid protocol with reference to his high levels of antibodies. But the NFL denied Rodger’s request because the treatment provided no documented protection.
When he tested positive for corona, the club announced that the star will miss Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs – which revealed that he is unvaccinated.
According to the league’s regulations, unvaccinated players must be quarantined for ten days after a positive response regardless of symptoms, while vaccinated players may return after two negative tests within 24 hours.
