Iran has released video footage of an alleged clash with the US navy that took place on October 24 in the Gulf of Oman.
The US vehemently rejects Iran’s accusations that the US Navy tried to seize Iranian crude aboard a tanker in the Gulf of Oman, with Pentago spokesman John Kibry calling the claims “totally false and untrue”.
According to Iranian government media citing the IRGC, U.S. warships and helicopters chased the tankers in an attempt to seize but failed.
Kirby said that no US forces had ever attempted to retake or were involved in the situation.
