Lobbyist Roman Janoušek applied to the Prague City Court for the time of interruption of the sentence to be included in the total time of serving the sentence. This was stated today by Czech Television, its information was confirmed by court spokesman Adam Wenig.
–
The lobbyist is serving 4.5 years for intentionally knocking a woman out of a car. He entered prison in 2014, and his sentence was suspended for health reasons from March 2016. Janoušek entered prison again in July this year. If the court granted the request, Janoušek could probably be released from prison.

“I can state without further details that the court received the convict’s request to include the period of suspension of imprisonment in the period of his imprisonment. After requesting the necessary documents, the court will decide on this request, “Wenig answered the question.

The courts repeatedly interrupted the execution of Janoušek’s sentence for health reasons at his request, most recently by one year last spring. According to medical reports, Janoušek suffers from an incurable disease and has to lean on a French cane while walking. According to doctors, he has an implant in his head after brain surgery, which could be loosened by movement and thus kill Janoušek.
