In recent days, Audi has unveiled the most luxurious A8 ever made in the Horch Edition, as well as the facelift of the standard A8, which will arrive in Europe in the coming months. Now it’s time for visual changes and the sports S8, which has practically nothing to surprise us with.
The front grille follows the trends and has grown in size, and also got a new design of the interior. The bumper has new holes and the headlights have a special design of daytime running lights and matrix LED technology. OLED taillights and a diffuser with four muffler tips complete the changed look. As standard, the model comes with four-wheel drive, active air suspension and a sports differential, and ceramic brakes can be ordered as an option.
These will most likely be needed for the heavy sedan to stop faster after accelerating from 0 to 100km / h in 3.8 seconds. The sprint is possible thanks to a 4.0-liter petrol eight with 563 horsepower and 800 Newton meters, transmitted to all four wheels. Sales of the new model will start next month with a price of 144,800 euros in Germany.
