The footage is inspired by a photo Marilyn Monroe took with photographer Burt Stern, titled “The Last Sitting”
Madonna is photographed almost naked for the winter issue of V Magazine, on which she is on the cover. In this way, the singer wanted to pay tribute to Marilyn Monroe, but this time she was more provocative than ever. The singer of “Bitch I’am Madonna” poses in front of the lens almost naked, thus imitating Monroe in her last photo shoot.
The photo shows her lying down and wearing fishnet tights, long gloves and a cross. In the other photos, the pop icon has a corset and a leather coat, and her hair is made just like Marilyn’s. Photographer Stephen Klein tells more about the photo shoot itself.
“This photo shoot is inspired by a photo Marilyn Monroe took with photographer Burt Stern., entitled “The Last Sitting”, he told V Magizine magazine.

Klein added: “The photos were taken at the Bel Air Hotel in 1962, before she died. What had to be taken in three hours became a three-day job. Drinking, laughing, taking pictures, editing, sleeping and after this more pictures “.
For the photos with Madonna, they did not try to literally recreate the photo shoot of Marilyn Monroe, but rather to explore the relationship between photographer and object.
