French stocks extend rally, CAC 40 index adds 0.34 percent

Paris (ANTARA) – French stocks ended higher on Wednesday (11/03/2021), extending their rally for a fifth straight day with the benchmark CAC 40 index on the Paris Stock Exchange adding 0.34 percent, or 23. .62 points, to settle at 6,950.65 points.

The CAC 40 index rose 0.49 percent, or 33.74 points, to 6,927.03 points on Tuesday (11/2/2021), after rising 0.92 percent, or 62.95 points, to 6,893.29 points on Monday (1/11/2021). /2021), and increased the previous two days by 0.38 percent and 0.75 percent, respectively.

Of the 40 stocks of selected large companies that are components of the CAC 40 index, as many as 25 stocks managed to record gains, while 14 stocks suffered losses and one stock traded unchanged.

Worldline, a French multinational transaction and payments services company soared 4.60 percent, being the biggest profit maker (top gainer) from superior shares or blue chips.

Followed by French commercial real estate firm Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield SE which rose 2.48 percent, and technology company providing application software services to support the innovation process of client firm Dassault Systemes rose 2.27 percent.

Meanwhile, Airbus SE, the European multinational aerospace industry company, recorded the biggest losses (top loser) among the leading stocks, with its share price cut by 2.09 percent.
