“Without losing sight of the safety for our patients and employees, there should be no barriers whatsoever to receive care or to visit your loved ones. A QR code in healthcare is unacceptable,” reports the chairman of the medical staff Ilse van Steven.
The QR code is also not a good idea, according to the chair of the nursing staff board Anita de Vette. “‘By introducing a vaccination certificate, we run a great risk: that staff will leave care. And we have precisely those professionals who provide care with heart and soul to everyone who needs it, without making any distinction between vaccinated or not. desperately needed.”
Before vaccination
The hospital is in favor of vaccination against corona because it protects against becoming seriously ill and possible hospitalization. But they are clear that a vaccination is always a right and not an obligation.
According to the OLVG, the basic measures such as keeping a distance, testing and staying home in case of complaints and wearing a mouth cap where necessary are important to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
