A 51-year-old passenger with a coronavirus died on an Istanbul-Hamburg plane. The incident happened aboard the Pegasus.
Investigators speculated that a man from the Duchy of Lauenberg died during the flight. Law enforcers rule out that the passenger was brought aboard dead, writes Spiegel.
It is noted that the plane landed in Germany last Wednesday, October 26. The dead man was found when all the passengers got off the plane. It is known that he rode alone and sat near the window. A police spokesman suggested that the passenger’s eyes were closed, so no one noticed his death during the flight. In addition, it is imperative to wear a mask on the plane.
According to the rules for flying from a high-risk zone in Turkey, a passenger had to undergo an examination, present a document on recovery or vaccination. It is not known how a man with COVID-19 got on the plane.
