The student composes her own pieces
Helena Berlinhof (15) doesn’t want to talk around the porridge for long before her super talent performance – she just wants to play the piano. Because here it belongs and here it is fully in its element. The 15-year-old takes off her shoes, closes her eyes – and then she starts. But it’s not just any piece that she performs on the super talent stage. But one of their 23 self-composed songs. The special thing about it: The student never wrote down any of the songs. If she is sitting at the piano, she can simply call up the notes from memory. And with that she blows EVERYONE in the hall, as we show in the video.
She signed up for “Das Supertalent” herself
Super talent candidate Helena has been playing the piano since she was nine. And at the age of ten she was already composing her first piece. In the meantime, 22 more songs have been added, all of which are nameless, by the way. “I just start playing and it takes about an hour to finish,” explains the 15-year-old after her performance. And she keeps the songs all in her memory!
Juror Kaya Yanar is totally impressed: “I’m fascinated by the way you compose.” Michael Michalsky can hardly believe it either: “I’ve never seen anything like it.”

Helena kept her gift to herself
Helena has planned her Supertalent participation for a long time and has taken it into her own hands. The 15-year-old only let her parents and sister know about the plan shortly before registering. And Helena’s family would not have thought that the student would delight the audience SO much. You didn’t even know that the ninth grader is a little genius. Helena’s mother was even worried that the ninth grader would receive negative feedback on Super Talent, as we show in the video above. But this concern was more than unfounded.
