This autumn, the local group “Citi zēni” has released the long-awaited debut album “Dogs go out on the streets” and is announcing it with a powerful single and video clip “Limousine on the Chalk”, in which popular Latvian personalities also participate.
As Jānis Pētersons, a soloist in the group “Other Boys”, explains, the new album, with a small dose of irony, talks about topics that are relevant to their peers: more time than usual. “
“Although we can’t present the album in person as we would like, we are deliberately releasing it right now. We hope that “Dogs take to the streets” will serve as a charge of fresh energy in this dark time. Get up, dance alone and enjoy, ”invites the group’s soloist Dagnis Roziņš.

The album includes both the band’s previous hits “I Always Late” and “Debt What It Is”, as well as new compositions in collaboration with Latvian-renowned artists Patrish and Arstarulsmirus.
The album was produced by Robert Memmen, mixed by Paul David Megi and the mastering process was performed at the Chartmakers studio in Finland, where it was processed by the famous sound engineer Svante Forsback, who has worked with groups such as Rammstein, Alan Waker and Apocalyptica.
“Limousine on Chalk” is a single with which the band announces the release of their debut album. “If we can’t meet in person at the concert, then this song and its video will allow us to party at home,” the choice of the single is justified by music producer and participant of the show “X Faktors” Robert Memmēns.
“We have to stop waiting until someone else creates something positive, instead we want to give everyone a chance to get lost in our music and forget about everything else,” says the band’s drummer Toms Kagainis about the single.
The latest single also features popular personalities: Baiba Sipeniece-Gavare, Sanda Dejus, Jānis Romanovskis, Edgars Bāliņš, Gusts Kikusts, Kaspars Mauriņš, Edgars Točs, Andris Daugaviņš and others.
“Over the past year, we have met and collaborated with many fantastic people. It was important for us that our friends also participate in the single, which we release with the album, ”comments the group’s guitarist Krišjānis Ozols.-
The video was directed by Artūrs Streļuks, edited by Elvis Lācis, choreographed by Beāte Svarinska, while the joint release of the single and album is provided by producer Jānis Kļaviņš and the company “Forte Production”.
The group’s keyboardist Reinis Višķeris invites: “This is just the beginning of the story of the group” Other Boys “. The debut album is our attempt to introduce fresh winds to Latvian pop music. We hope that the listeners will give us the opportunity and find the time to listen carefully to the album, it has a lot of hidden musical treasures. ”
The group “Other Boys” is a musical association of six people, whose music can be described as a jar of fresh tonic, first shaken and then opened. The group consists of Jānis Pētersons (vocals), Dagnis Roziņš (vocals, saxophone), Reinis Višķeris (keyboards), Krišjānis Ozols (guitar), Roberts Memmēns (bass) and Toms Kagainis (drums).
