Jakarta (ANTARA) – A technology company that focuses on game development from Japan, Sega Sammy Holding, said that it is conducting strategic exploration with Microsoft in terms of utilizing cloud or cloud computing technology for gaming.
Sega is trying the platform cloud belongs to Microsoft, namely Microsoft Azure, and has not detailed the type of development in question.
“The goal is of course to optimize development and also continue to provide quality experiences for game fans using technology cloud from Azure,” Sega said in a statement.
As a result of the cooperation plan, the value of Sega’s shares increased by 6 percent on the stock market this morning.

Actually, Microsoft already has initiatives related to the use of technology gaming available on the device is Xbox and can be viewed via Xbox Games Pass.
Several Sega games are also available on the service, such as the “Yakuza” series.
