Coronavirus: 94% of those over 60 in Buenos Aires already have both doses | Vaccination in the province of Buenos Aires

94% of Buenos Aires residents over 60 have already received the second dose of the coronavirus vaccine, while 98% the first, the Ministry of Health of the province of Buenos Aires reported today.

Those over 60 years of age with a complete scheme represent 10,183,230 people, while those immunized with the first dose amount to 13,255,481.

According to a new report on the “Buenos Aires Vacunate” program, only 48,178 people over 60 years of age remain to be vaccinated out of the total number of registered. In addition, they highlighted that in the group of children from 3 to 11 years old, 849,419 have already received the first dose and 559,341 of the total number of registered are pending.

In the group of young people from 12 to 17 years of age with risk diseases, 67% (165,401) received the complete scheme, 88% received the first dose and 29,428 of the total number of registered for immunization for the first time remain pending.

In the same age group but without risk diseases, 73 percent received the first dose and only 15 the complete scheme.

Regarding teaching and non-teaching staff, 94% already have the complete vaccination scheme, and 92% of security staff.

In the 18 to 59 age group, the number of people vaccinated with two doses reaches 6,032,845, which means 93%, and 522,226 people are missing to receive the second dose.
