Independent director Ehrenpreis on Wednesday exercised options to buy 370,000 Tesla shares, at a price of about $ 50 per unit, before their expiration in June next year, according to documents submitted to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
The investor, who has been a board member of Tesla since May 2007, then sold 203,429 shares for up to $ 1,068.38 per unit. The shares are worth about $ 214 million, according to Reuters calculations.
Gracias, general manager of the Valor investment fund, also submitted documents for the sale of 338,493 shares, worth $ 351 million and another 250,000 shares, worth $ 259 million. indirectly through the AJG Growth Fund.
He has been a member of the Tesla board since May 2007, his term expiring in October. Known as a close friend of Ella Musk, CEO of Tesla, Gracias is a director of SpaceX and was a director at SolarCity until its acquisition by Tesla in 2016.
