Last Thursday, Ronaldo posted a post on Instagram, which blew everything up to now. More than 30 million people pressed the heart button and liked the photo.

Over 450,000 people commented on the picture and expressed their congratulations on the imminent birth of the twins. By comparison, when Lionel Messi joined PSG, he only received 22 million likes.

To be fair, however, it has to be said that Ronaldo is in his own league. The ManUnited star is followed by 361 million people on Instagram. Messi has over 80 million fewer with 278 million subscribers.

This is one of the reasons why the ultrasound image of the twins spread like fireworks around the globe, which Ronaldo and his Spanish-Argentine model Rodriguez proudly held into the camera with their sugary snapshot. It touched a lot of people.

Thousands of comments came in every second. The Spanish newspaper “Hola” had previously reported about the pregnancy, which Ronaldo and Rodriguez confirmed with their ultrasound image – and set a new Instagram record in the process.

Ronaldo already has four children. Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. (11), the twins Eva and Mateo (4), who were born by a surrogate mother, and Alana Martina (3) – their child with Georgina. Ronaldo and Rodriguez have been a couple since autumn 2016.
