Florence, 30 October 2021 – Price increases in view of the car inspection, which will increase by 12,14 euro (VAT included). According to the implementation decree approved by the council of ministers, the increase will start from Monday 1st November. However, part of the increase will be recovered thanks to the safe vehicles bonus, which can be requested starting from December 2021.

The inspection, which must be done four years after the first registration and then every two years, will increase by 9,95 euro plus VAT. The expense for the motorist will be different, depending on whether it is addressed to the motorization or to a private review center. In the first case the cost will go from 45 to 54,90 euro. In case you have a authorized center, the expense will be 79,02 euro, as to the 54.90 euros, 12.09 euros of VAT at 22% must be added, the 10 euros of motorization rights and 1.78 euros for the payment.
The safe vehicles bonus
To compensate for the increase, the government has allocated 4 million euros for the three-year period 2021-2023 for the safe vehicles bonus. To benefit from it approx 402 thousand people, the fastest to apply. The bonus, in fact, will be awarded according to thetemporal order of receipt of requests and until resources are exhausted.
How much is the bonus

The requirements
