Continuing with the Immunization Plan against COVID 19, starting this Monday, November 1, the Ministry of Public Health of Misiones makes the third additional dose available for immunocompromised people and for over 50 and over have received a primary schedule with inactivated Sinopharm vaccine.
And one consonance with the provisions of the National Ministry of Health, in accordance with the recommendation of the National Immunization Commission (CONAIN).
Those who make up the target population must have a minimum application interval for an additional third dose of 4 weeks from the application of the last dose of the primary regimen.
TARGET POPULATION FOR THIRD ADDITIONAL DOSE
– Immunocompromised people, regardless of the primary regimen received (3 years and over):

Oncological treatment for solid and onco-hematological tumors.

Solid organ transplant recipients under immunosuppressive treatment.

Hematopoietic stem cell transplant recipients in the past 2 years or on immunosuppressive treatment

Moderate or severe primary immunodeficiency
-
People living with HIV
-
Active treatment with high-dose corticosteroids or immunosuppressive medication.
At the time of vaccination, people with immunocompromise must present a medical prescription.
–People aged 50 years and over who have received a primary inactivated virus vaccine schedule. In Argentina they are those who have received the Sinopharm vaccine.
According to information from effectiveness studies of heterologous schemes, and the availability of doses in the country, the Ministry of Health of the Nation recommends the following schemes:
The minimum interval of application of the third additional dose, in all cases, will be no less than 4 weeks from the application of the last dose of the primary scheme.
