WhatsApp is one of the most used messaging applications in the world. However, the company has decided to cut support for phones running iOS 9, Android 4.0.3 or lower. iPhone 4s owners will not be able to access the app. This decision will be implemented from 1 November. Advice to phone users came from the highly anticipated prehistoric company.
“MAKE BACKUP” ADVICE
The app also advised smartphone owners to save their chat history before the next month’s update takes place. Phone owners who cannot use the application are also warned to keep their messages.
WILL NOT WORK ON IPHONE 4S
There are currently 2 billion WhatsApp users worldwide. When the update ends on November 1, 53 Android models and one Phone model will lose access to the app. App will not be available on iPhone 4S.
