(CRHoy.com) The Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS) It will have 46 vaccinations enabled throughout the country during this weekend and distributed in 30 health areas and 6 hospitals.

The institution is actively applying the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine for people between 18 and 57 years old, and this week the vaccination of young people between 12 and 17 years old according to the availability of the biological in health areas.

The vaccination teams will be initiating the vaccination schedules for people over 12 years of age, pregnant regardless of gestational age and older adults, and they will also apply second doses to people over 20 years of age who meet 8 weeks between doses.

This Saturday and Sunday, the Monseñor Víctor Manuel Sanabria Martínez hospital in Puntarenas will have a mobile stand on Saturday at Paseo de los Turistas and on Sunday at Caldera beach, with hours of operation from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Vaccination is open, this means it is for anyone regardless of place of residence.

According to the records of the Integrated Vaccine System (SIVA) as of Monday, October 25, 2021, a total of 6,333,040 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been applied in the country, 3,669,812 correspond to first doses and 2 663 228 to second doses.
