Former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker Michael Owen has predicted some of the English Premier League games EPL which will be played this weekend.
Leicester City will host Arsenal at King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon, while Chelsea face Newcastle United at St. James’ Park.
Manchester United face Tottenham Hotspur in a Premier League away game on Saturday night and Liverpool host Brighton.
Providing his predictions, Owen told BetVictor: “I love Leicester here. Vardy’s record against Arsenal is fantastic and he has scored 11 against them, more than any opponent. I can see him scoring here and Leicester winning. Leicester 2, Arsenal 1. ”
Commenting on the Liverpool vs Brighton game, Owen said: “I expect a response from Brighton here, but Liverpool will still have too many. It will be difficult for the Reds to match last week’s performance so I say 2-1 Liverpool.
Speaking on the Newcastle vs Chelsea game, Owen said: “Chelsea have the best defense in the league and I don’t see Newcastle having enough to hurt them. I think Newcastle will try to keep things tight, but Chelsea will take the win here, 1-0.
In the Tottenham v Manchester United game, Owen said: “Both managers are under pressure here, especially Ole. United won 3-1 here last season and have yet to lose in the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium. I think they can beat this 2-1.
