This Saturday, October 30, 2021, the Dijon fair (Côte-d’Or) opened its doors. An edition that marks the centenary of the event. Last year, the fair could not take place due to the Covid-19 epidemic.
Let’s go for the Dijon gastronomic fair. The event is celebrating its centenary this year. An anniversary that comes one year after a cancellation made inevitable with the progression of the Covid-19 epidemic.
For 2021, around 400 exhibitors have moved to the Dijon exhibition and congress center, a lower figure than in previous editions. “It was a real challenge to welcome them after a blank year in 2020. Knowing that we have reconfigured the spaces of our fair to increase the surface area of the aisles to welcome our visitors with much more important sanitary measures “, specifies Nadine Bazin, general manager of Dijon Congrexpo, which organizes the event.
There is no special guest country, as was the tradition until then. This year, the organizers simply wanted to highlight gastronomy.
The fair is open every day until Thursday, November 11. Evening events are scheduled for October 30 and 31 as well as November 2, 5, 6 and 10 to taste the products offered by exhibitors until 11 p.m. The sanitary pass is essential to access the aisles. The detailed program is available for consultation on the event website.
