Sony has created a new brand for the release of former Playstation-exclusive games for Windows computers, reports Video Games Chronicle. The new brand is “Playstation PC”, which clarifies Sony’s growing investment in the PC market.
The venture began with Horizon Zero Dawn and Death Stranding last year, and has been followed by Days Gone this year. Uncharted 4 and God of War are also on the way, and Sony has announced that “a plethora” of games that previously only existed on Playstation 4 and 5 will be ported to PC.
Sony recently acquired Nixxes Software, a company known for taking the PC versions of several Square Enix titles, whose expertise will now benefit more Windows porters.
