Will Ferrell refuses to dress up as an elf again to take on his alter-ego’s skin Buddy to crawl for a possible sequel of Elf from 2003. The 54-year-old actor does not think the script is good enough and is not even convinced for a generous salary of almost 25 million euros. That reports The Hollywood Reporter.

“I would have to start promoting the movie honestly, which basically means I’d say it’s a bad movie but I did it for the money. I didn’t like that, so I decided not to take the role,” said Ferrell.
Of movie Elf was a great success at the time, although the actor wondered during the recordings whether it would catch on with the public at all. “Then I would walk through New York in my tights and weird outfits and I would think: this is the end of my career.”
