Nintendo introduces an Augmented Reality game that makes you go

Following the success of Pokemon Go, Nintendo has teamed up with Niantic to offer one of its owners augmented reality.

The way of flowers

Pygmy Bloom’s idea is simple: go to collect seeds, go to Pygmy (by stacking steps) and leave the flower path.. Everything like Pokémon Go is in augmented reality. This allows other players to “see” the trace of your flowers. Then you can of course upgrade your Pikmin, but above all you can freshen up the day in the app by going through the places you went through in the video designed for you.

In short, you will understand it, Pigmin Bloom is not a game, But a passive experience inspired by the rights created by Shigeru Miyamoto. Currently in use, Pikmin Bloom is apparently free and available on iOS and Android.

But can “games” do better or do the same as Pokémon? Nothing is certain. Following the success of Niantic, other augmented reality games such as Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, Minecraft Earth (already canceled) and Transformers: Heavy Metal have been released on mobile, but they have never been successful.

Provides a different experience, “just” going out of your house, Nintendo and Niantic can successfully seduce regular players. Either way, it costs nothing to try, and the barriers to putting sticks on the wheels of both companies are no longer coming (hopefully).
