Armed civilian groups (KKB) Friday (29/10) around 16.00 WIT burned the office Airnav which is in the Airport area Addicted, District Intan Jaya |, Papua.
“It is true that there are reports of arson actions carried out by the KKB around the Sugapa Airport area, namely the burning of the Airnav Office,” the Commander of the 1705/Nabire Kodim, Lieutenant Colonel Infantry Anjuanda Pardosi, told reporters. He stated that there were no casualties in the incident and currently employees of the state agency have fled to the church.

Out of urgency, the armed group set fire to the Airnav Office of Sugapa Airport. “In the last few days, security disturbances carried out by KKB have increased,” he said.
It was reported that members of the armed gang were in every corner around Sugapa District, causing the people, especially those from outside Sugapa, to be frightened and flee to the church.
“Meanwhile, Sugapa residents choose not to go out of their homes because they are afraid,” said Anjuanda.
