When the last round of the League Cup group stage remains to be played, here are the counts in each of the groups to reach the final four.
GROUP A
V. Guimarães leads with four points, but has already played in both games. Benfica, with one point, can reach the final four if he wins Covilhã (he is out), in Luz, by at least three goals.

B GROUP
Sporting (three points) only need to draw at Penafiel (zero points) to progress, with Famalicão (three points too) waiting. No one is out yet, but Penafiel would need a miracle after losing 5-0 to Famalicão in the first round.

GROUP C
With Paços de Ferreira out of combat, everything will be decided at Boavista-SC Braga. To chess players (three points) a draw is enough, while arsenalistas (one point) are obliged to win.

GROUP D
FC Porto still has a game to play, but is already out of the fight, after the defeat against Santa Clara, who have four points and have a presence in the final phase well underway. Rio Ave must beat FC Porto at Dragão and beat Santa Clara in the tiebreaker.

Finally, qualification in Group D will be played between Santa Clara and Rio Ave. The Azores team leads with four points and already two games played. The Vila do Conde team needs to beat FC Porto at Estádio do Dragão and by expressive numbers to overcome Santa Clara in the tiebreaker criteria.
The tiebreaker criteria:
In the group stage, in case there is a situation of equal points between clubs, the following criteria will be applied, for the purposes of tie-breaking, in order of priority: a) greater difference between the number of goals scored and the number of goals conceded in this group stage; b) higher number of goals scored in this group stage; c) lowest average age of players used during this group stage
