During the speech, it was shown how the Internet should look like in virtual reality. Zuckerberg he had a “meeting” with friends, represented by three-dimensional avatars in a common virtual room stylized as a spaceship.
“In the metaverse, you’ll be able to do whatever you can imagine: work, shop, play (…) instead of looking at the screen, you’ll feel like you’re there,” said Zuckerberg.
As he admitted, although the implementation of this vision is still a long way, the basic parts of the metaversum are already available.
