About Christoph de Coster
Christoph de Coster is a member of the Practice Area Patents & Pharma and the Industry Group Life Sciences & Healthcare at Taylor Wessing.
His main focus is on patent law. He specializes in advising national and international clients in patent nullity and patent infringement proceedings (especially cross border litigation) and know-how-oriented transactions.
Christoph de Coster represents clients before the patent litigation chambers of the regional courts, the courts of appeal and the Federal Court of Justice in Germany.
He studied in Munich, Paris and at the University of California (Davis). In the USA he obtained an LL.M. in Intellectual Property and admitted to the bar in New York (Bar Exam).
Christoph de Coster is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property and Copyright (GRUR), the Licensing Executives Society (LES) and the Association of Experts in Intellectual Property (VPP). He regularly gives lectures on current patent law issues in the life sciences.
