Two painters experienced frightening moments in Bangkok while repairing a skyscraper. A woman who lives in the building cut the line they were hooked to leaving them hanging on the 26th floor.
The rope was taut to allow the painters to move from top to bottom. After some time, with the help of other residents, the workmen were able to be brought to safety through a window.
According to Thai media, the 34-year-old woman was angry because she had not been informed of the work and suddenly saw two men in front of her window.
After the incident, the painters filed a complaint against the woman. He would have initially denied that she had cut the rope. After she was confronted with images and DNA research showed that she had been on the rope, she confessed.
The woman emphasized that she was not out to kill the men. She is suspected of attempted manslaughter, which could result in a 20-year prison sentence.
