Meghan Markle gave us another public appearance, this time on YouTube. The occasion? Reading his children’s book, entitled The Bench – his first editorial project apart from the bombshell biography of his escape from the Palace with Harry. In the video, the Duchess of Sussex looks beautiful and sports a radiant smile. And not only that: among her jewels one really particular stands out.

The reading took place in the garden of the luxurious villa that Meghan and Harry bought in Montecito, California, where temperatures are still very hot: Markle has therefore decided to wear a simple and at the same time effective look, choosing from her favorite items from her wardrobe. A delightful light blue shirt with a very casual style, with the sleeves rolled up and slightly unbuttoned at the front, and a pair of blue jeans complete the outfit of the Duchess of Sussex, which, however, has anything but preferred to adopt a low profile.
This is demonstrated by the jewels he wore, whose total value would be around almost 450 thousand dollars – according to the estimates of some experts. Among others, the beautiful engagement ring that Harry gave her in 2017 stands out, which includes a very precious diamond from Botswana and two smaller stones belonging to the collection of Lady Diana. The origins of the other jewel worn on the right hand are decidedly more mysterious, a ring made by Lorraine Schwartz which has been much discussed in the past.
Another homage to Lady D. is his splendid watch which Harry gave to Meghan: it is a Luxurious Cartier Tank and elegant, which the Duchess loves to wear. Accompanying him, on his wrist, is also a Cartier Love bracelet – it is also thought to be a gift from her boyfriend at the time, dating back to the dawn of their love – and a most delicate gold bracelet, designed by Jennifer Meyer. In short, once again in his look there is a memory of Princess Diana, just as well Kate Middleton it usually does (almost a challenge).

Meghan Markle, the children’s book
On YouTube, the Duchess of Sussex wanted to read a few pages of hers children’s book titled The Bench. Meghan, recently an encore mother, has dealt with a very important theme in this small volume: in fact she tells the beautiful bond between father and son seen from her mother’s eyes, an inspiration that she lived on her skin with birth of the firstborn Archie – and then again with the arrival of Lilibet.
The book was born as one short poem that Markle had written on Father’s Day for her husband, and which she then decided to turn into a real story. Published last June, Meghan had previewed it to the children of an elementary school in New York, a very special occasion for her.
