The latest generation of Toyota Avanza will reportedly slide in the near future. Now, salespeople at authorized Toyota dealers are starting to open orders for the new Avanza.
One of the salespeople at the official Toyota dealer in Jakarta said that it was possible to order the latest generation of Toyota Avanza. Consumers only need to pay a booking fee to order the new generation Avanza so they don’t have to wait long for the new Avanza pivot.
“You can book. Booking fee is IDR 5 million. (Launching) next month,” said one of the Toyota salespeople who did not want to be named to detikcom, Wednesday (27/10/2021).
He could not reveal the exact price of this latest generation Toyota Avanza. Because, the new Avanza has not been officially launched so there is no exact price yet.
“The price is not yet known, the estimate is to increase by Rp. 30 million,” he said.
For comparison, the current Toyota Avanza model is sold at a starting price of IDR 187,600,000 for the standard type with a 1,300 cc engine manual transmission. The most expensive Avanza at the moment is the Veloz 1.5 A/T GR Limited at a price of Rp. 243,800,000.
Referring to the leaked estimate of the Avanza price increase, maybe the new generation Avanza will be priced starting from Rp. 200 million.
Meanwhile, if you look at the pieces of images that are spread on social media, the changes to the new Avanza Veloz are indeed very radical. Because it has changed a lot from the previous Avanza Veloz design which embraces the low MPV style. The new Avanza Veloz is similar to a combination of SUV and MPV cars.
On the front, the new generation Avanza has a trapezoidal grille design like an SUV, Toyota Corolla Cross and Toyota RAV4. The difference is, in the new Avanza Veloz the design is more crowded because of the many curves, especially in the foglamp and bumper areas.
Then on the side, the Avanza design line is similar to the Toyota Raize. There are even netizen comments that say that this new Avanza is a Toyota Raize whose dimensions have been extended. Oiya, this new Avanza also looks taller because it adopts a larger rim size.
