Veterinarians confiscated 1,300 kilos of kebab meat in the Prachatice region

“There were beef and poultry products of unknown origin in the establishment and some foods had an expiration date. On-site inspectors devalued the food by staining it and ordered its harmless disposal, “said Vorlíček.

He pointed out that due to unmaintained operation and significant clutter in the building, veterinarians could not temporarily approve the establishment, as the basic requirements of the applicable legislation on the infrastructure and equipment of the food business were not met.

The owner of this food business can now face a large fine. “In accordance with the Food Act, he may be fined up to 50 million crowns for this offense,” Vorlíček added.
