Fabio Tuiach, a port worker in the front row in recent days at the no green pass protest, has contracted Covid. He announced it on his Facebook profile, then confirming the news to Courier service. The former boxing champion and former city councilor of the Julian capital, first with the Lega and then with Forza Nuova, is at home, he says, with a fever of 38. But not because the contagion could have spread among the crowd of demonstrators – eight thousand in the early days -, almost all without a mask, disrespectful of distancing and often embraced or occupied in meditation and prayer sessions, sometimes holding hands, so much so that Trieste jumped to the first place for incidence of infections in the last week.

If I was in the square, I did it not at the times when I was not obliged to stay at home, I was therefore correct, confirms the director concerned, who explains why he decided to resort to a period of illness: Monday evening , on the day of the evacuation of the port, they beat me up and I returned home shaken – he explains -, this shock destroyed my immune defenses: I have 110 kilos, that proceeds would have killed a woman. I then asked my doctor to put me on sickness, although he initially replied that he couldn’t do it because everyone had seen me in the square and I ended up in newspapers and TV.

Now I’m home – he continues -, because I don’t want to increase the infections. But I still think that Covid is like a flu, more or less strong, just treat it in time with anti-inflammatories and vitamins. These are in fact the methods used by the former boxer. No tachipirina, I just took a little mucolytic: prescriptions that the various doctors with us have recommended in recent days, who love me and came to pray with us. At 10 pm, on days of protest, a Polish priest, who lived true communism, led me and a group in the rosary in Unit Square. In fact, the thing that I regret most now that I can no longer do the rosary against this Chinese-style health dictatorship: I am against the green pass and the vaccine. Tyson talks like me too.
