Denpasar Distan Boosts Vaccination of Animals Transmitting Rabies, Service Every Weekday

TRIBUN-BALI.COM, DENPASAR – Denpasar City Government through Department of Agriculture re -execute rabies vaccination for Rabies Infecting Animals (HPR).

This activity which aims to ensure the health of HPR is carried out every working day at the Office Department of Agriculture Denpasar City, Jalan A Yani.

The Head of Animal Health at the Denpasar City Office, I Made Ngurah Sugiri, when confirmed on Sunday (24/10/2021), explained that the HPR vaccination was carried out with the hope of supporting the creation of sustainable animal health in Denpasar City.

It was further explained that until now Rabies vaccination services for HPR such as dogs, cats and monkeys are still carried out routinely.

This is carried out in order to support vaccination services for HPR health to be given optimally.

Sugiri also said that this was an ongoing step to prevent the rabies virus in Denpasar City.

According to him, now there are 52 thousand vaccines prepared for HPR whose owners are residents of Denpasar City.

“We have prepared around 52 thousand doses of rabies vaccine for HPR, this program is carried out for free every day for people with Denpasar ID cards,” he explained.

Sugiri also invited the public to take part in preventing the transmission of Rabies in Denpasar City. This can be done in a simple way, namely not to release their pets that are classified as HPR.

“We urge the community not to let go of their pets that belong to HPR, let’s prevent it together transmission of rabies,” he concluded.
