Karlovy Vary criminal investigators are looking for 14-year-old Miroslava Horvátová, who lives in an orphanage in Karlovy Vary. She left on Friday when she was out with the other children on the playground. In her room on Sunday, they found a letter in which she wrote about her problems and self-harm. Police are so afraid that the girl is in danger of death.
This week, a fourteen-year-old girl was transferred from Cheb to the SOS Sluníčko children’s home in Karlovy Vary on Monday. On Friday, October 22, according to the police, she went with the other children to the playground located near the panel houses in Svatošská Street. But she didn’t stay there for long, after a while the nurse noticed that the girl was leaving.
She went after her, but disappeared from her sight. On Saturday, the police announced the search for the girl. “On Sunday, October 24, a letter was found in the room of the missing girl, in which she wrote about her problems and possible self-harm. For this reason, she is in danger of death,” said police spokesman Jakub Kopřiva.
Police also turn to the public for help in the search. “In case of any information, call the toll-free telephone line 158 or contact the nearest police station,” Kopřiva calls.
At the time of leaving, the girl was wearing a leatherette jacket to the waist, mottled elastic sweatpants in gray-white and black-and-white sports shoes. She had distinctive round earrings in her ears. She is about 160 centimeters tall, has a medium build, and dark straight shoulder-length hair. Police add that she is not dangerous and does not take any drugs.
