Jakarta –
Performing an RT-PCR test at Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Soetta) can now know the results faster, which is only 3 hours. The acceleration is carried out considering that the Indonesian government has officially enforced the rule that airplane passengers are required to carry out PCR tests starting today (24/10).
This rule is specifically for airplane passengers traveling from or to airports in Java and Bali. The express PCR test was carried out at the RT-PCR drive thru Airport Health Center service, Terminal 3. The process only took 3 hours, much faster than the usual 1×24 hours.
“Especially for prospective airline passengers who carry out tests at the RT-PCR drive-thru service at the Airport Health Center in Terminal 3, and show flight tickets on the same day as the test, they can find out the results of the RT-PCR test within 3 hours after the sample was taken. ,” said SM of Branch Communication & Legal Badar Soekarno-Hatta M. Holik Muardi through a written statement quoted on Sunday (10/24/2021).
“For the RT-PCR tests carried out at other points of the Airport Health Center such as walk-in service and pre-order service at Terminal 3, as well as walk-in service, pre-order service, and drive thru service at Terminal 2, the results can still be known 1×24 hours,” he continued.
His party emphasized that there was no difference in the price of the RT-PCR test between those whose results were known in the range of 3 hours and 1×24 hours.
