There are now more than 1,100 covid patients in hospital, a third more than a week earlier. There are exactly 250 covid patients in intensive care, also a third more.
Between October 13 and 19, an average of more than 4,000 Covid infections were diagnosed daily, an increase of 65 percent compared to a week earlier. An average of 54,100 tests were performed daily during the same period, a fifth more than the week before. The positivity ratio thus amounts to 7.5 percent (+1.9 percent).
