Twitter adds subscription cards to Revue newsletter in tweets – EzAnime.net

This will be a welcome addition for Revue newsletter creators. Today, Twitter has introduced a new subscription card to the Revue newsletter that will allow subscription to the newsletter directly from in-stream tweets.

As you can see from this example, Revue creators will now be able to share a link to their newsletter subscription in a tweet, providing more options to attract subscribers from the platform.

As Revue explains:

“We already made it possible for followers to subscribe to your newsletter directly from your Twitter profile. And now they can also do it from Tweets, some with just one click «.

That initial integration, following Twitter’s acquisition of Revue, was launched in June, allowing newsletter creators to add a prominent ‘Subscribe’ button to their profiles.

This new addition builds on the same and aligns with Twitter’s broader push to provide more monetization options for creators on the platform.

Twitter users who already have an email address linked to their account will be able to register immediately, directly from the tweet feed, while those who do not have one will be guided through the Revue registration process.

The button will also extend to people who share links to your newsletter in their tweets:

“When someone shares a link to one of your newsletter posts in a Tweet, and someone clicks on it in their timeline, a ‘Subscribe’ button will appear in the preview when they return to Twitter.”

It’s a significant upgrade, one that will undoubtedly increase the appeal of Revue’s newsletters, with the ability to generate more subscriptions with each tweet.

Revue notes that it could be a good way to get viral tweet subscribers (as opposed to the old SoundCloud link), while users will also be able to add signup cards within Spaces and at the end of tweet threads.

As noted, Twitter has been working to integrate more creator monetization options throughout the year, which also includes its Super Follow tweet plugin option and Ticketed Spaces to drive more direct income from its in-app efforts.

Newsletters are another area of potential growth, and by making it easier to use your audience reach to drive newsletter subscriptions, it could be an attractive draw for more creators who may be considering their newsletter options as a means of building their community. . .

It certainly adds another consideration to the mix, while the new card type, like the profile addition, could also pave the way for more direct connection options similar to other products and services within tweets, if users are open to the format.

The new option is now available to all Revue users, via it’s only available on desktop computers and the mobile web for now, and the iOS and Android links will be available soon.
