On Wednesday October 13, 5th C and 5th D students from Albert-Camus College received a visit from Alex Cousseau, author of children’s literature, present in Aveyron for the Sainte-Radegonde Youth Literature Festival.

The students welcomed him by presenting him with reading boxes made for the occasion with their plastic arts teacher, Mr. Jankowski. These creations have taken on the most diverse forms to illustrate with originality scenes or characters from the author’s first novel, Poisson-Lune, read in class with their French teacher, Ms. Bauguil.

Then, the college students were able to ask many questions to the author who was very available and attentive. He told them the story of the birth of his first novel, his choices and writing techniques, the care he likes to bring to his characters.
