Netflix, Protests | Dave Chappelle shocked Netflix employees

The employees at Netflix have organized under the name “Team Trans”, and earlier this week they got enough by leaving Netflix’s office in Los Angeles in pure protest. The message to the employer was clear, they believe that the show “The Closer” is transphobic, writes CBS News. Being transphobic means showing disgust or fear towards trans people. They have therefore asked Netflix to remove Chappelle’s show from the streaming service with immediate effect.

– Dave Chappelle is not allowed to suck out the joy of this moment. This is a moment where we have all joined forces and made an effort. This is a moment where we understand that it is one for all and all for one, and we will not stop until justice is served, says Netflix employee Ashlee Marie Preston, according to CBS News.

These are one of Netflix’s biggest successes:

The show for the star comedian, “The Closer”, premiered on Netflix on October 5, and has several sketches aimed at transgender people. The main character himself has previously said that “gender is a fact, because all people on this earth have had to get out between the legs of a woman”, writes CBS.

Will not be removed

Netflix has not done anything with the show in recent weeks, and has insisted that it not be removed or edited. According to CBS, the company has not allowed its employees to criticize the show on social media. It has been «fy, fy. Some of the employees have also said that they will be suspended because of this, but Netflix has strongly denied this. However, they have made a statement in the wake of the protests.
